Built by School and Clinical Leaders

Mike Fink

With over two decades of experience in education, technology, and school leadership, I have spent my career focused on helping schools create safer, stronger systems for students. That work has shown me that student needs don't end when the school day does, and that districts need reliable support when urgent concerns arise after hours.

I founded Student Safety Alert to help fill that gap. The service provides 24/7 monitoring and immediate response to urgent student alerts, including those generated through district web filtering and student safety platforms, involving self-harm, threats of violence, and other high-risk behaviors. This helps schools ensure that serious concerns are addressed quickly and thoughtfully, even outside of traditional school hours.

Student Safety Alert was built to give districts an added layer of support and peace of mind. By combining school-based experience, technology leadership, and a deep understanding of student safety needs, it helps schools respond with urgency, care, and professionalism when it matters most.

Stacy Pellettieri, LCSW-R

With more than 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I have spent my career helping children, families, and school communities navigate crisis, trauma, and complex mental health needs with compassion and care. My work has included supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, school refusal, ADHD, OCD, and other emotional and behavioral challenges, always with a commitment to meeting people where they are.

I founded Student Safety Alert because I believe students need support that extends beyond the school day. Student Safety Alert provides 24/7 monitoring and immediate response to urgent student alerts involving self-harm, violence, and other high-risk behaviors, helping districts and families respond quickly and appropriately when serious concerns arise after hours.

My work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed, person-centered care, and I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to guide thoughtful, clinically grounded responses. Through Student Safety Alert, I strive to help ensure that students in crisis are met with empathy, professionalism, and meaningful support at the moments they need it most.
